Heather Sedlacek, B.Sc, DVM

Principal Project Manager

  • BS and DVM from Michigan State University, Masters Certificate in Clinical Trial Administration from Western Michigan University

  • Started at AlcheraBio in November of 2010, first as a monitor, then promoted to Project Manager and then Senior Project Manager

  • Previously worked in private practice (small animal), for the state government, and in other facets of the Animal Health industry

Fun Fact:

  • My favorite animal is the rhinoceros, I have 11 cats- two we adopted and 9 that adopted us by wandering up to our house and refusing to leave

  • Being able to participate in the development of medications that improve animal health and give people more enjoyable moments with their pets

Jonathan Hopper, VMD

Project Manager II

  • Participated in 13 month rotating medical/surgical internship at Oradell Animal Hospital

  • Spent 7 years in private practice seeing cats, dogs, and small exotic mammals

  • Started at AlcheraBio in 2014

  • Serve as a Project Manager and Safety Monitor at AlcheraBio

Jennifer Ogne-Stevenson, DVM

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, University of California, Davis

  • 11 years experience working in private small animal veterinary practice

  • 6 years experience working in veterinary pharmaceutical industry

  • 7 years experience working in veterinary clinical trials

Fun Fact:

  • My free time is spent chasing around my 7 year old son, 2 year old Greyhound, running, yoga, gardening, bread baking and enjoying all the California wine country has to offer!

My Inspiration as Part of the Team:

  • I have the opportunity to better the lives of pets and their owners on a much broader scale than what is possible in practice, helping to bring new drugs to the market to treat the diseases that so greatly affect our pets.

  • Employed by Merck as a Veterinary Research Assistant, 1989-1997

  • Employed by Merial as a QC Specialist, 1998-2007

  • Employed by Bradford Park Veterinary Hospital as a Clinical Trials Coordinator, 2007-2018
