Chris Marion, DVM, MPH received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2006 and Master of Public Health degree in 2011, both from Kansas State University (KSU). Dr. Marion has experience in the animal nutrition industry, veterinary publishing, veterinary practice, and academia.

Most recently, he operated a consultancy that provided clinical trial-related services to Hill’s Pet Nutrition in Topeka, Kansas. He was responsible for developing trial documents; day-to-day monitoring and issue resolution; interaction with veterinarians and veterinary staff members taking part in studies; handling supplies and logistics; and writing protocols and study reports.

Dr. Marion also provides editing services for several veterinary publications and is the Associate Editor for the 4th edition of the Exotic Animal Formulary. Additionally, Dr. Marion serves as a relief veterinarian for area small animal clinics. Since 2007, he has volunteered at the Riley County KS Human Society, where he provides companion animal spay/neuter services. Prior to becoming a veterinarian, he was a veterinary assistant at clinics in Kansas and Indiana. Dr. Marion is an AlcheraBio clinical research coordinator.
