Cindy Betros, MS
Clinical Research Assistant

Ms. Betros has a Master’s degree in Animal Science from Rutgers University. Her love of horses – she started riding at the age of 3 – set the stage for a career in animal science. She received two awards during graduate school: the Hilda S. Foster Endowed Fellowship and a Science Communication Award. Ms. Betros has authored or coauthored 18 papers dealing with various aspects of equine exercise physiology and she presented research at the 6th International Conference on Equine Exercise Physiology. She has experience as a veterinary technician, and prior to joining AlcheraBio in September of 2007, she worked for the Hambletonian Society. Ms. Betros has a number of Microsoft Office certifications. She creates clinical study tracking systems and provides support for clinical trial setup, monitoring and data management.
