Ms. Nichols joined AlcheraBio in 2006 with 5 years’ experience in the health industry including research and development, sales training, and professional education. Prior to joining AlcheraBio, Ms. Nichols worked for Ethicon, a global medical device company that is a division of Johnson and Johnson. During her time there, she supported preclinical product efficacy for all divisions of Ethicon including Women’s Health and Urology, Cardiovations, Wound Management, Ethicon Products, and Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Inc. as well as J&J sister companies.
She also served as the principal investigator preparing preclinical study protocols and reports while meeting GLP and FDA study requirements. In 2005, she received the Corporate Johnson and Johnson 3R’s award for her commitment in reducing, refining, and replacing animal use in biomedical research.
At AlcheraBio, Ms. Nichols is a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator. In addition, she oversees AlcheraBio’s other clinical research coordinators and manages many of the activities required to monitor our clients’ GCP studies.
Ms. Nichols received her Master’s degree in Animal Science from Rutgers University in 2006. She has a BS in Veterinary Technology from Quinnipiac University and is a Licensed Veterinary Technician.
